2 Corinthians 9:6-7

Giving a portion of God's financial blessings to ignite Kingdom causes is a powerful act of worship. It is an expression of our gratitude to God for His goodness and blessings. As only God can do, He uses what we give and multiplies it beyond our wildest imagination. In addition to the blessing that others receive, one of the wonders of giving is the blessing we receive in return!

This year, when you give above and beyond through “Be Generous,” every dollar you give will go toward three specific Kingdom causes, igniting ministry and leading more people to know, love, and follow Jesus! Learn more below, and join us on November 30 for Be Generous Sunday!

On Be Generous Sunday, November 30th, through Tuesday, December 2nd, every dollar you give will go toward three specific Kingdom causes: a new counseling center at The Hunt Club Campus, campus upgrades including The Stone County Campus expansion, and local and global missions. 

New Counseling Center

In today’s culture, anxiety and depression have become all too common. Mental, emotional, and spiritual battles touch every one of us in some way. Through a partnership with Cornerstone Counseling, a new counseling center will open at The Hunt Club Campus in 2026.

Through the new counseling center, we’ll be able to offer professional support that complements the care and encouragement already provided through our church, blessing both members of our church family and others in our communities.

Campus Upgrades

With three full experiences every Sunday, our Stone County Campus has completely maxed out its space—but God’s work there is far from done. The current 250-seat auditorium will be repurposed into additional kids’ classrooms, while a new 600-seat auditorium will be built to accommodate future growth. In addition, we’re upgrading our two oldest campuses - The Lincoln Road and Hunt Club Campuses — to create environments that are more welcoming, effective, and ready for the next season of ministry.

Local & Global Missions

Your giving will help us launch a new partnership with Commissioned International to expand opportunities for our church partners to participate in global missions. In addition, your giving will help us expand our local outreach. As we dedicate more financial resources to local outreach efforts like Venture's Christmas Store, we are able to impact more lives with the love of Jesus - reclaiming more territory throughout our communities for the advancement of the Gospel!

Be Generous FAQs

Be Generous is the way we describe financial giving that goes above and beyond regular tithes. Generosity is our response to God’s goodness—a posture of gratitude and worship for all He has done. Be Generous is an invitation to invest in what God is doing through our church and in our community to make an eternal impact!
Be Generous Sunday is November 30th. 100% of financial gifts given that day will go toward funding special projects which include a new counseling center, campus upgrades, and global and local missions. The giving window for Be Generous will remain open until Tuesday, December 2nd.
No. Any auto-drafts between Nov. 30-Dec. 2 will be counted among regular tithing which goes toward Venture's operational budget and will not go toward funding these special projects.
You can give securely at anytime online at venturechurch.org/givenow. You can also give through the Venture Church APP by clicking on the "Be Generous" tab at the bottom. When giving online or through the APP, to ensure your above-and-beyond gift goes toward these special projects, please make your contribution to "Be Generous."
