Venture 101

Welcome to the Family

Would you like to learn more about Venture Church and our vision to reach unchurched people? Would you like to learn more about how we actively pursue fulfilling our purpose? Are you curious to know more about what we believe and the values that shape our culture? Do you have a desire to take the next step in your faith journey by partnering with Venture Church as you seek to know, love, and follow Jesus?

What is Venture 101?

If you’re asking yourself any of those questions, then Venture 101 is the answer you’re seeking!

Venture 101 is a one-hour, in-person class that teaches more about:

  • our vision to be a church for the unchurched
  • our mission to lead others to know, love, and follow Jesus
  • the foundation of our beliefs
  • our strategy for fulfilling our purpose
  • the values upon which our culture is built
  • what partnership at Venture Church means

Venture 101 is a one-hour, in-person class held on each Venture Church campus for anyone interested in learning more about Venture Church, our DNA (vision, mission, strategy, and core values), and the meaning of partnership at Venture. At the end of Venture 101, if you feel Venture Church is a good fit for you, you will have an opportunity to take the next step in partnering with Venture to reach people who are far from God and lead them in knowing, loving, and following Jesus.

Venture 101 is an in-person-only class that meets on campus. The class lasts approximately one hour and includes video teaching and host-led discussion. There is also an opportunity to learn more about and complete the Venture Partnership Covenant. Class content includes a brief overview of our history, our vision and mission, the foundation of what we believe, our four-part strategy, core values, and the partnership covenant. This is an interactive class, but participation is voluntary.

Venture 101 will be offered church-wide once a quarter. In the weeks leading up, we will promote the opportunity to attend Venture 101 church-wide. However, if you have an interest in partnership in-between these church-wide offerings, you are encouraged to follow up with a campus staff member.

At this time, unless you are an existing partner or have already signed the Venture Church Partnership Covenant, to become a partner at Venture, you must complete Venture 101 and sign a partnership covenant.

To partner with Venture Church in reaching people far from God and leading them to know, love, and follow Jesus, you must be a follower of Jesus who has publicly declared their faith in Jesus by being baptized through immersion.

At this time, unless you are an existing partner or have already signed a partnership covenant, you must complete Venture 101 to become a partner.
