Venture Church exists to glorify God by leading people to know, love, and follow Jesus. In accordance with scripture, we believe that every believer is called and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be a witness, sharing the good news of the gospel locally, regionally, and around the world. Through global and regional partnerships, local outreach initiatives, and hands-on opportunities, Venture's church family seeks to serve others, meet real needs, and bring hope to every community where we serve. Our mission is to intentionally develop a mission-minded culture within our church where everyone is provided an opportunity to participate in missions whether across the street or around the globe.

Global Missions

At Venture Church, we believe every person should have the opportunity to experience the hope of Jesus. We partner with Commissioned International to provide opportunities for church partners and members of the community to participate in global missions, taking the Gospel to other nations.

This trip is focused on serving and encouraging students and families in Honduras through outreach, relationship building, and ministry opportunities. Team members will have the chance to share the love of Jesus in practical ways while partnering with local ministry efforts already taking place on the ground.

This is a great opportunity for those who want to serve internationally, grow in their faith, and be part of a team-centered mission experience. Completing the interest form is the first step and does not commit someone to the trip.

About This Trip

Trip Dates: August 1-8, 2026

This mission trip is designed to support medical ministry efforts in Honduras while also sharing the hope of the gospel through compassionate care. Team members may serve in a variety of support roles depending on their background, experience, and trip needs.

This trip is ideal for those with medical experience as well as those willing to help with logistics, prayer, organization, and care for patients and families. Completing the interest form is the best way to begin the conversation and learn what roles are needed.

Regional Missions

At Venture Church, we believe God calls us to reach beyond our local communities to impact the surrounding region. Through regional missions, we partner with other organizations to provide outreach opportunities to our church partners to strengthen other communities and share the hope of Jesus. Through these efforts, we’re able to meet real needs and make an eternal impact.

About This Opportunity

Opportunity Dates: June 6-12

The Venture Students Mission Trip to Arlington, Texas, is an incredible opportunity designed for high school students (9th-12th graders), to engage in hands-on mission work while learning more about the unique gifts God has given them to lead others to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ. Over the course of in-depth training meetings and days of on-site service, our students will receive practical missions training, build relationships with students and leaders from all Venture Church campuses, serve alongside Mission Arlington, and learn more about God’s calling on their lives to be on mission with Him. Please join us in praying for the 2026 Venture Students Mission Trip from Saturday, June 6 - Friday, June 12.

About Campus Opportunities

Each of Venture's campuses partner with local schools and organizations to meet the unique needs of the communities they serve. Through these relationships, campuses are able to engage in meaningful, ongoing outreach that makes a tangible difference locally. These campus outreach opportunities include Edwards Street Ministry (Hattiesburg), Hope Clinic (Hattiesburg), Extra Table (South MS), Stone County Prison Ministry (Wiggins), and support for local schools throughout the region.

How do I get more involved?

At Venture Church there are ways for an entire family to be involved, but each opportunity is unique. If you are interested in learning more about global, regional, or local missions opportunitites, please contact Stacy@venturechurch.org.

What qualifications or training are needed for me to help?

Every trip or organization has different requirements. To ensure all requirements are met, please reach out to the contact person provided for the opportunity you are interested in learning more about or email Stacy Miller at Stacy@venturechurch.org.

What is the cost?

The cost for each opportunity or trip will vary from free for some of our local opportunities to several thousand dollars for an international trip.

Do I need to be a part of Venture Church to be involved?

Partnership with Venture Church is not always required. To discover if this is a requirement for the opportunity you are interested in, please reach out to the contact person provided or email Stacy Miller at Stacy@venturechurch.org.

How does Venture Church support Global Missions?

We contribute annually to the Mississippi Baptist Cooperative program, the North American Missions Board and the International Missions Board to support efforts like Annie Armstrong, Lottie Moon, and Margaret Lackey offerings. We are also a contributing partner with Commissioned International to support global missions. Through this partnership with Commissioned International, we are able to have an ongoing impact with specific international communities.
