All Powerful

Begin with two minutes of stillness and silence before God.

God still does incredible miracles every day. A lot of times, people try to dismiss events as coincidences or changes in health as luck. But God still does miraculous things in our lives. All we have to do is pay attention. With all the hustle and bustle of life, it's easy to overlook His incredible work. That is why the Bible teaches on so many occasions verses like Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God”.  Our God is all-powerful, omnipresent, and all-knowing! Do not let this world overtake your thoughts. He loves us and cares for us, and He reveals that every day if we would just pay attention.

In Psalms, David talks about how awesome God is all the time. Psalms 65:6-8 says, “who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength, who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations. The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders…’  When you think you are having a rough day, remember that our God is absolutely incredible. His power and majesty supersede any problems we can have. Sit back and thank him regardless of our circumstances.  He controls the sea and every part of the earth. Do not overlook that He is the God of the Universe, and yet he still cares about us and wants a relationship with us.

So, no matter what, choose joy each and every day. Let us show others with our actions and our words that we are thankful that we are saved, and we know where our eternity lies. It is with our Creator who sent Jesus to save us from our sins so that we could spend all of eternity with Him.

Prayer: God, thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your creation. Give me the strength and wisdom to not waste a single day but use each one for you and your glory.

Take two minutes to reflect in silence.
