Begin with two minutes of stillness and silence before God.
We live in a time and place where we can see what is happening all over the world, whenever we want. We are constantly bombarded with information, and most of the time, it’s not good news. War. Injustice. Homelessness. Confusion. It can be really easy to believe that evil might just win in the end. But we know the truth.
As I was reading Proverbs 12, verse 7 stuck out as a powerful reminder of what we believe as Christ followers. We know that the fight has already been won. We know that Jesus has crushed the enemy’s head and offers us new life because of His death and resurrection! Does the state of this world still bring up feelings of sadness and even anger? YES! However, it doesn’t have to steal our hope, and it sure doesn’t mean that hell has won!
We know the truth. The wicked are overthrown and ARE NO MORE! Amen!
Take two minutes to reflect in silence.
