“Ants are not very strong. But they store up food in the summer.” Proverbs 30:25

HEAD:

Proverbs 30 reminds us that even the smallest creatures—like ants—live with incredible wisdom. They may lack power or size, but they thrive because of how they live. This chapter teaches a timeless truth: Wise living isn’t about being impressive—it’s about making godly choices.

No matter our age or strength, we can all live wisely if we follow God’s Word.

HEART:

Let’s take a lesson from nature. Have you ever watched ants at work? They’re constantly storing food, building tunnels, and working together. On a summer hike, our family watched a trail of ants carry crumbs three times their size. It was fascinating.

They’re small, but they never stop doing the right thing.

That’s the message of Proverbs 30: God sees the wise choices we make, even in the smallest things. Like the ant, we don’t need to be powerful to live a life that honors Him. We just need to be faithful, diligent, and wise—especially when no one’s watching.

HAND: Choose to Work with Joy!

Like the ant in Proverbs 30, let’s approach our tasks with diligence and a joyful heart. Whether it’s schoolwork, chores, or helping others, every small act matters to God.

As Henry David Thoreau once said:

“It’s not enough to be busy. So are the ants. The question is: what are we busy about?”

PRAYER:

Lord, teach our family to make choices that please You—even when no one is watching. Help us to live faithfully, humbly, and joyfully every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
