Read Matthew 11

Head

In Matthew 11, Jesus speaks firmly to many of the towns where he has done many miracles. After seeing these miracles, many of the people in these towns still do not choose to follow Jesus. On the other hand, He goes on to say that little children have seen His miracles and chosen to follow Him. Boys and girls, God tells us big people to be like you. You often see a miracle and KNOW that God made it happen. Sometimes, adults have to find all the reasons for the miracle. We can learn so much from you! Jesus says these words, “Come to me, all who are tired and are carrying heavy loads. I will give you rest. Become my servants and learn from me. I am gentle and free of pride. You will find rest for your souls. Serving me is easy, and my load is light” (Matthew 11: 28-29). Jesus is asking us to be like children. He wants us to come to Him and have faith just like yours, friend.

Heart

Jesus tells his disciples to let the children come to Him (Matthew 19:14). Picture yourself crawling up in Jesus’ lap as He tells you a parable or story. You may even picture yourself taking a nap as scripture tells us He will give us rest.

Hands

Point out something miraculous that God does today. It could be something as simple as a beautiful sunset or an encouraging comment from a friend.

Prayer: Lord, I want to come to You. Thank you for being gentle. Please, help me serve You. Help me to rest in Your arms. Amen.
