Read: Romans 7
HEAD
Today, in our reading, Paul continues to talk about some struggles we may face even after we have accepted Jesus. Did you know that knowing Jesus doesn’t just magically make things easy for us? Sometimes it may still be hard to make good choices. Paul tells us that even though he wanted to do what was right, he found himself wrong. Can you believe that? He discovered that sin was at work within him, and that made it difficult to always make the right choices.
HEART
Do you know what that tells you and me? We cannot overcome these struggles on our own. No matter how hard we try, we may not get it right. But the good news is that we have Jesus. He came to save us from our sins and to give us the power to live a life that makes God happy. So, when we have problems, we shouldn't give up. We should turn to Jesus and ask Him for help. He understands our struggles.
Remember, we are not defined by our mistakes. We are forgiven and loved by God. He sees us as His precious children, and He is always ready to help us grow and overcome the struggles we face.
HANDS
Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for understanding our struggles and offering us forgiveness. Help us to rely on your strength and guidance as we strive to do what is right. Fill us with your Holy Spirit and help us to honor you in everything we do. Amen.
