Read Psalms 75-76

Head:

Today’s reading in Psalms 75 and 76 is all about God’s power and justice. The author of this text is Asaph, a chief musician in the court of David. Here, Asaph tells us that God is the ultimate judge of the whole world. He is the one who puts people in charge or removes them if needed. He does not need anyone’s help to decide what is right and wrong.

The next chapter reminds us that God is a mighty warrior who protects His people. When enemies try to hurt them, God shows His strength and rescues them. He is more powerful than any king or army on earth.

Heart:

Imagine you and your friends are playing a game with a referee. The referee ensures everyone plays by the rules and that the game is fair. He decides who wins and who loses. The referee is in charge, and everyone has to listen to him.

God is like the ultimate referee of the whole world! He sees everything we do and everything that happens on earth. He makes sure that things are fair and just in the end. Sometimes, it might seem like bad people are winning, but the psalms remind us that God is always in control. He will ensure that the right things happen and that good wins over evil. We can trust that God is watching over us and that He is always on our side when we do what's right.

Hands:

You can pray and tell Jesus you trust Him with the big things and the little things!

Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank You for being the powerful and just judge of the world. Thank You for protecting us and for always being in control. Please help us to trust You even when things don't seem fair. Help us be strong and do what is right, knowing You are on our side. We praise You for Your greatness and Your love. Amen.
