Head

Chapter 3 reminds us of the glorious day when Jesus will return! While we may wonder when this will happen, God’s timing is perfect. Just like He fulfills every promise in Scripture, He will fulfill this promise, too!

Heart

Have you ever had a friend break a promise to you? It’s the worst feeling! You feel like you can’t trust that person, and it takes a long time to get to a place where you can trust them again. Well, guess what?! God NEVER breaks a promise to you!! I don’t know about you, but I am so thankful for that! We don’t ever have to worry about what He says not happening. That puts my heart at ease. He may not do it on our time, but He will do it when it’s His time. Remember, His timing is always perfect, so lean on those promises!

Hands

There are so many promises in Scripture. As a family, do a quick Google search and find one verse that everybody in your family loves. Write it down in a place you gather often. Memorize it this week. Continue this each week so that you can have those promises close to your heart.

Prayer: God, we thank You that we can trust what You say. We don’t have to worry or fear the future because You’ve already taken care of it. Help me to hide Your words in my heart so that I can recall them in times of need. In Jesus' name. Amen.
