HEAD

In this passage, Paul tells us all about Jesus Christ, his death and resurrection, and the incredible gift we can experience if we choose to ask Him to be the Lord of our lives. Christ is “the exact likeness of God,” and “all things have been created by him and for him.” “He holds everything together.” Christ, God’s son, died on the cross for you and me. Because of this, we have the opportunity to stand before our Lord without fault. He’s forgiven and forgotten our sins if we simply accept Jesus Christ as the Lord of our lives. Romans 10:9 says, “Say with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord.’ Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Then you will be saved.”

HEART

So, what does it mean to have a relationship with Jesus? To call Him the Lord of your life? When you choose to follow Jesus, you begin to depend on Him to guide you through this life. You talk to him daily through prayer. When you sin, you ask him for forgiveness. You love Him.

HANDS

Talk to someone about these questions today:

  • Do you know Jesus?
  • Do you love Jesus?
  • Do you want to follow Jesus?

Prayer: Lord, give me the desire to know you more and more. I want to learn more about you and grow deeper in love with you. Amen.
