Head
Have you ever thought about what it really means to be a child of God? Galatians 3:26 says, “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.” That means if you believe in Jesus, you are part of God’s family! This is a really big deal! It doesn’t matter how good you are at sports, what your grades are, or how many friends you have. What matters most is that you believe in Jesus. That makes you God’s child, and He loves you very much.
Heart
When you’re part of God’s family, you get special gifts. God gives you His love, His help, and a place with Him forever. You don’t have to earn these things, they are gifts from God because He is so, so good. Being God’s child also means we are all part of one big family. It doesn’t matter where we come from or what we look like; God’s love is for everyone. So, we should treat each other with love, kindness, and respect.
Hands
Galatians 3:26 reminds us who we really are: God’s children, loved and chosen. Our job is to show His love to others, from the people who are next door to those on the other side of the world. God wants us to care for them just as He would. Don’t judge people by how they look, how much money they have, their skin color or language, or even by the mistakes they make. Everyone needs Jesus to save them! Let’s live like we belong to Him by loving others, trusting Him, and sharing His joy with the world!
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for loving me and calling me Your child. Teach me to love others and be kind, and help me to see others the way You see them. I’m so glad I get to be in Your forever family! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
