Read Romans 15
Head
In Romans 15, Paul is writing to the Romans to ask them to pray for him and his ministry. He has been teaching Gentiles and is returning to Jerusalem to work with Jewish people who were going to receive material gifts from the Gentiles. Because Paul had a strong desire to spread the gospel to those who had not heard of Jesus he was planning to travel to Spain and would stop to visit Rome on his way.
Heart
Paul’s challenge to the Romans was to take all that we have been taught to serve others. We are called to be full of goodness so that it will glorify our Father in Heaven. Paul called us to accept one another, like Christ has accepted us. This will bring glory to God. We should always reflect Christ to the others we encounter.
Hands
Can you think of anyone you can reach out to show the love of Christ? How can you do this? Can you be kind to someone who is feeling lonely? As a family, can you help another family that might be in need? Talk about those you have met or encountered and how you might be a witness through your actions.
Prayer: Dear Father, thank You for Paul, and how bold he was in his witness for You. It is amazing how You used him to bring so many to know You. As a family, help us to know, love, and follow You. Please help us to be a family that lives in that way. Amen.
