Read Proverbs 24:3-4

“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.” Proverbs 24:3-4

Head

These verses teach us that wisdom, understanding, and knowledge are like tools that help build a strong house. But they also apply to our lives. Wisdom helps us make good choices. Understanding helps us recognize what is true and fair. Knowledge helps us learn more about God and His ways. When we use these tools in our lives, we build a strong foundation filled with things that really matter—like love, peace, kindness, and truth.

Heart

God wants us to value His wisdom above everything else. He wants our hearts to love learning from Him and to trust that His way is best. When our hearts are filled with God’s truth, we’re not just gaining information—we're learning how to live a life that honors Him and blesses others.

Hands

How can we build our "house" (our life) with things that please God? Try this:

• Draw a house and label each room with words or actions that help build a strong foundation. Examples: love, patience, forgiveness, wisdom, faith. Add your own ideas!
• Put your drawing somewhere you’ll see it often as a reminder to build your life on God's truth.

Prayer: 

Lord, Your Word is full of wisdom. Thank You for teaching us how to build our lives on a strong foundation. Help us to grow in wisdom, understand Your truth, and fill our hearts with what pleases You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
