Read Revelation 15

Head
In Revelation 15, we are presented with the image of Heaven and seven angels who are holding the seven plagues. We know that when the time comes, God will eliminate sin and evil once and for all. God has promised that He is the ultimate Judge and will return to restore His kingdom in the new heaven. So, what truth can we rely on from Revelation 15? God is holy, He is victorious, and He will have the last battle against evil. Remember John 16:33 NIV, which says, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Heart
God's promise in Revelation 15 is that there is evil, but God will one day return to defeat it once and for all. We persevere through hard times and trust in God's power to guide us through. How do we show God that we love Him and trust him? By believing His promise. One that comes to mind is Hebrews 13:6 NIV: "So we say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?'"

Hand
What does the Lord command us to do as we go through trials and wait on Him to bring His justice to this broken world? Well, one thing we can do is what they did in this chapter, which shows us they sang praises to God. We are to give praise to God for His amazing power and promises to bring an end to sin and evil, and that we will live with Him forever. Also, we can trust Him by staying faithful to Him. How do we do that? Pray for the Holy Spirit to give you faith, especially when things are tough and not going as you had hoped. Don't let fear distract you from God's promises. Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV says, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." As you meditate on Revelation 15, let the assurance of God's justice strengthen your mind, your heart be moved to awe, and your hands be inspired to acts of worship. God is worthy, His ways are just, and our lives can echo Heaven's song until we see Him face to face.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we give you all praises for your faithful and righteous ways! Help us to remember that your ultimate plan is to bring evil down and for Your faithful servants to live with You for eternity. Lord, it is sometimes hard to give you praises when it looks as if the evil one is winning the war, but You are victorious and have already won the war on sin at the cross! You are always worthy of praise. Keep our eyes on You and keep us faithful to Your plan. In Jesus' name, Amen.
