Head

Have you ever heard of a trust fall? A trust fall is when you stand up tall with your hands by your side, you fall back, and someone is there to catch you. It’s called a trust fall for a reason; you have to trust that the person behind you is not going to let you fall. There is always that fear of falling to the floor. In our day-to-day lives, we can experience this same kind of fear. When we fear something, that means that there is a lack of trust, doubt that something will be okay in the end. As Christ's followers, we are to fully trust Jesus with our life.

Heart

Have you ever felt afraid or nervous? Sometimes we feel afraid or nervous, but we can trust in God’s promises and know that He is with us. Just like Daniel trusting God in the middle of the lion's den, we can trust in God when we face difficult or scary situations.

Hands

When we feel afraid, we can pray and ask God to help us trust in Him. The reminder of the promise that God loves us and is always with us is the best way to fight fear.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much for who You are. Thank you for how much You love Your children. When we get scared or worried, help us remind ourselves of the truth of Your Word! The promise that You are always with us and all of our strength and hope comes from You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
