Our Thoughts:
The Bible is full of prophecies that can sometimes leave us with a lot of questions and no answers. As you read today, events in chapter 12 leave Daniel with some very concerning questions about tribulations and the end times.

Though we, like Daniel, may have many questions, we can always be reassured by the truth that Jesus is coming back again and He will prevail no matter what. We can find sanctuary and be worry-free even without knowing the answers to our questions because we have been given eternal life from the moment we started a relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.

In verse 9, the angel tells Daniel to go on his way, and he also reassures Daniel that those who are wise will understand what is going on when the time comes. The same assurance that was given to Daniel still lives with us because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. It's easy to worry or be anxious about the unknown things in life, but we can have peace and find reassurance in scripture and the love of Jesus Christ in our lives.

Prayer:
Thank you, God, for Your grace and Your love in my life. When things get hard, Lord, I know I can rest in Your reassurance because You are the one in my life that can calm the stirring waters in my mind. Your love is enough to satisfy me, God. I pray in your holy name, Amen.
