Serve at the Christmas Store

For many families in our area, ensuring their kids have a memorable Christmas can be a financial burden. As a way to serve these families, through relationships with local schools, each Venture Church Campus will invite selected families in need to shop for their child at the Christmas Store—for free! While gifts are being wrapped, parents will be encouraged and prayed for, leaving with Christmas gifts in tow and a few burdens left behind.

This fall, we will be collecting the items that will stock these Christmas Stores. Check out the shopping list below or pick one up on your campus.

We'll also need volunteers to serve on the day of the Christmas Store to make this unique experience possible. Sign-ups are now open for volunteers!

"The Bible" Message Series

When something is important to us but feels too hard, overwhelming, or intimidating, it's easy to put it off and tackle the less important things demanding our immediate attention. Is the Bible that way for you? You want to read it. You know you need it. But you don't know where to begin. You don't understand all the words. And it just feels too big to take on when the laundry list of life is competing for your attention and time.

It's common to think we should get all the way through the Bible, but what if the goal is to let the Bible get all the way through us? In our new message series, "The Bible," we're unpacking common questions to help us confidently pick up God’s Word and begin experiencing the power of His Truth woven into our everyday lives.

Join us this fall as we learn about the Bible and how it changes everything.

Students | Turning Point Weekend

Turning Point Weekend is Venture Students’ annual fall retreat designed for students 7th-12th grade to reach a powerful turning point in their faith and walk with Christ. Students from every Venture Church campus will come together to build relationships, play games and, most importantly, passionately worship Jesus Christ.

Churchwide | Be Generous Sunday

Generosity is an act of worship, responding to God’s goodness for all He has done. Generosity is an opportunity to invest in advancing the mission of our church in our communities to lead more people to know, love, and follow Jesus. Be Generous is the way we describe financial giving that goes above and beyond regular tithes.

Sunday, November 29, is Be Generous Sunday. When you give above and beyond through Be Generous, every dollar you give will go toward three specific Kingdom causes: missions, launching a new pre-teen ministry, and investing in our campuses!

Campfire is a special large group experience designed to give Navigators (3rd-5th graders) an opportunity to engage in worship, have a ton of fun, and dive deeper into God’s Word. Campfire meets one Sunday of every month at the following times:

9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at The Lincoln Road Campus
9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at The Hunt Club Campus
11:30 a.m. at The Stone County Campus
10:00 a.m. at The Jones County Campus
